DCU’s Campus Residences received two awards for excellence at the recently-held annual ceremony of the Irish Accommodation Services Institute (IASI).
Despite students voicing concerns about strict fines in a previous issue of The College View, Campus Residences received a Gold award having achieved a mark of over 94 per cent when its accommodation was inspected.
It was also honoured with the Supreme Award, the overall award for its class, at the ceremony held in the Carlton Dublin Airport Hotel on Saturday January 25th.
The IASI runs the event every year to award accommodation providers in numerous different sectors including hospitals, hotels, B&Bs, nursing homes and colleges.
DCU’s campus accommodation providers were honoured at last year’s awards also.
