With the UK electing their new King very recently, there’s been a lot of buzz about the Royal Family and who the next heir to the throne will be. Instead of going through family trees and royal bloodlines, I’ve decided to take a look outwards, and to see if there would be any other British celebrities that could take up the mantle.
Lewis Capaldi
Now, I don’t completely know the rules of the monarchy. I’m not sure if Scottish people can be crowned. Maybe they can. I should really know this as the article writer…but it’s satire, whatever goes. Anyways, Capaldi, thoughts? Personally I think he’d be a good fit because this guy is very relatable. I feel he’d understand the needs of the people and put them first when making any important decisions. He is very funny also.
Mary Berry
Mary Berry is well known for her plethora of baking recipes and expertise in the Great British Bake-Off. She is an English national treasure and would definitely be a good follow-up to the late Queen. Although, I’d say the royal baking department at Buckingham Palace might find themselves out of work….
Prince Charles
Whoops. Didn’t mean to put this in here!
KSI
KSI has developed his career over the past decade from a little Youtuber to rapper, boxer and…bigger Youtuber? I believe his larger than life personality will aid him in the final step in his career: taking over the throne. The only question is: will the crown be able to fit on his head?
Olivia Coleman
In the Netflix series “The Crown”, it takes little imagination to picture what Olivia Coleman would look like as the Queen. But imagine herself as the queen and not her as Queen Lizzie. Have you seen her speech at the Oscars? She blew raspberries. SHE BLEW RASPBERRIES. Surely she must have enough experience from “The Crown” to take the royal reigns.
Ann Russell (TikTok)
Ann Russell is who I consider to be the mother of TikTok. In all honesty, this would be one of the more serious considerations on this list. Ann Russell seems to have a vast wealth of knowledge on all things cleaning. The way she speaks is also so captivating, imagine that voice doing the Christmas address! Take a look for yourself @annrussell on TikTok if you haven’t already.
Malibu Barbie Paytas-Hacmon
It seems that Trisha Paytas has spent her whole career travelling to every corner of the internet. Mainly from the cursed side of Youtube which then flipped to mainstream Youtube via a collaboration with friend/enemy Ethan Klein (H3H3) in their podcast “Frenemies”. Days after the Queen’s death, Paytas announced the arrival of their baby. Is she the reincarnation of the Queen? Unfortunately, Trisha says no. But one can dream…
