[dropcap]A[/dropcap]ctress and singer Zendaya has solidified her status as a fashion icon with the launch of two of her own clothing lines.

Zendaya, who started her career with Disney, is known for her roles in The Greatest Showman and Spiderman Homecoming.

The American actress most recently wowed on the 2018 Oscars Red Carpet in a one-shoulder Giambattista Valli gown. She has launched her own affordable clothing line Daya by Zendaya and recently released a line with Boohoo called The Zendaya Edit.

“[My fans] are chic, fashion-forward and love clothes, but like most people, wanna be able to ball on a budget” Zendaya told WWD. Zendaya loves working with brands that allow you to be creative and collaborate.

“I’ve definitely been able to add my flare to things,” she explained in a Boohoo blog post.

The summer Boohoo line is effortless, simple and cool. The unique clothing is bright, colourful and comfortable.

The collection has everything from cocktail attire to athletic lounge-wear. There’s a lot of jackets – metallic, lilac, striped and denim. There’s also slogan t-shirts, athleisure and pastel palettes.

“I’ve missed jean skirts so much I can’t even tell you how excited I am that they’re back” said Elite Daily reporter Alison Turka. Not to mention that prices start at five euro.

Zendaya hand-picked every item in this collection, so every item has her stamp of approval. You’ll be able to shop everything the actress wore in her Boohoo campaign photos. There are over 50 items items available in her line.

The collection’s size chart ranges from sizes 2 to 26, which is certainly better than most brands. It’s a ’90s-inspired collection and it’s affordable.

Other stars like Charli XCX and Stella Hudgens have had successful clothing lines with Boohoo in the past.

Charli XCX had also had a 90’s themed collection back in Winter 2015. “I really do feel that during the ’90s there were so many awesome looks that just sat on the line of being so wrong that they’re right and I really like that about fashion. I like it when people take risks like that,” she told Elle.

“I just feel like there were so many aspects of fashion in the ’90s that were just so awesome and vibrant. The ’90s felt like not just fashion but also dressing up, like raiding someone’s closet and dressing up.” Her clothing line included big slip dresses, spaghetti straps and no built-in bras.
