DCU are set to launch a new project to develop young writers and give them a change to get their work published.
The project, called Under Thirty, is a non-profit start-up venture launching over the summer in DCU. It develops young Irish writers by allowing them to submit their work to a panel of experienced writers and literary academics.
It also encompasses a peer-reviewed journal that will showcase selected pieces in hard-copy and e-book form, the first of which will be published later this year.
The launch will take place in July and will host many big names in the world of literature.
