Secondary schools still not safe places for LGBTI+ students

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]lmost three quarters of LGBTI+ second level students feel unsafe at school and 86% say the feel purposely excluded by their peers, according to the largest report of its kind ever conducted in Ireland.

DCU team leads research into anti-LGBTI bullying plan for primary schools

The programme, which was developed over the last two years, takes the form of four lessons based in the 5th and 6th class Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE) curriculum.
