The Autumn Edit

Sarah Moore

Autumn can be easily defined as the best season to serve up an abundance of style throughout the streets.

It’s not too cold where you must triple layer every piece of clothing to avoid hypothermia, and likewise not too warm where clothing is uncomfortably sticky. Autumn is a great time of year to showcase the wardrobe favourites such as trench coats, jumpers, scarves, and ankle boots.

This year has truly delivered on fun trends to work with that can be done without breaking the bank. The return of animal print is a god sent that can transform any inexpensive outfit when done correctly. The Autumn child; checked clothing is a personal favourite that integrates well with the season colours. Cord seems to have nuzzled its way into this year’s Autumn trends, giving the opportunity to create a slightly nostalgic 90s look.

There are several items in the high street shops at the moment that can aid your creative flow in helping achieve the seasonal trends without giving the need to smash open the piggy bank.

These look great with a simple pair of blue/white jeans and a beige jumper or with a dark skirt and tights.

Animal print has grown a fondness for the texture of satin. It looks super expensive and many online clothing brands offer a cheaper alternative.
