The National Student Media Awards, or SMEDIAS, are returning in 2024! This prestigious awards night recognises the best and brightest student work from various media disciplines, making it an important event for aspiring journalists, filmmakers, photographers, podcasters and more creative works in the future.

The competition is open to students from all colleges in Ireland. If you’ve been honing your journalism, photography, film, television, radio, or digital media skills, now’s your chance to be recognised by industry leaders.

The clock is ticking! Sharpen your skills and prepare to submit. It’s not too late, message your editors and send it! Polish your best work and ensure it’s ready before the deadline of March 7th, 2024 (Thursday)
