How to get long, luscious locks with the help of rosemary oil

Rosemary oil is believed to have properties that stimulate hair growth and even prevent hair loss.

Hair can be problematic for everyone. Whether the issue is balding, thinning or growing at a snail’s pace, this natural oil might be the solution. Putting rosemary oil in your hair has been trending on TikTok lately, but Mediterranean cultures have used this hack for hundreds of years.
The plant which the oil is extracted from is known to have anti-inflammatory properties as well as properties that promote nerve growth and improve circulation. This ensures that hair follicles have a robust blood supply.

While there are no set ways to put the oil in your hair, the following methods appear to be the most popular.

Many people are mixing it into their shampoo or conditioner. Five drops are generally the recommended amount, and then use the product as usual.

Another option is to massage the oil directly into your scalp. It is recommended to do this with a carrier oil, such as coconut. You must rub the oil through wet hair, either washing it out after at least 5-10 minutes, or letting your hair dry with the oils in.

‘I find a massive difference in the growth and thickness of my hair now,’ Aimee Watchorn told The College View. She has been putting rosemary oil in her shampoo once a week for the past two years.

‘I would have struggled with thin hair. Even though it’s not a miracle worker, I definitely noticed a big change since I started using it.’

Rosemary oil can be found with other essential oils at most health stores. If you are experiencing unusual amounts of hair loss, however, you should contact your GP or another form of healthcare professional.
