This coming academic year DCU Students’ Union will be providing discount cards free-of-charge to students.
As of yet no deals have been made with any companies – the idea is still very much in the planning stages.
The SU are looking for suggestions from students as to what shops and other outlets they’d like these cards to provide discounts for.
Education Officer Ciarán O’Connor said: “It’s the Students’ Unions’ job to provide services to students in a number of different ways – this card being another aspect of the services we provide.
“The cards will hopefully have a wide range of deals and discounts available on them for students to avail of.”
