More than half of Dublin City University students are from outside of Dublin.
Just under 6,000 of DCU’s 11,923 students are from counties outside of the capital, with just under 10% of the DCU student population being made up of international students.
This year DCU attracted 1,145 students from outside of Ireland. 833 of these are postgraduate scholars, which leaves 312 undergraduate international students left on campus every weekend.
The final 40% of the student make up consists of people from within Dublin County.
